Basford 1st team still smarting from yesterdays horror show at Bilborough Pelican will demonstrate all the hallmarks of a powerful unit as someone feels the backlash of this defeat in the coming weeks.

United as a club have too many good players to do anything other and all the signs are that the defeat has been taken personally by Management and players and this will serve as a major source of motivation with a steely resolve.

Unfortunately for Basford the cancellation of the previous Saturdays game against Nottingham United took us out of rhythm and was a key factor in an error prone flat display yesterday with too many players suffering off days.

With two cup games to refocus the minds in the next two weeks then hopefully by the next league encounter Basford will be back firing on all cylinders.
