[size=large]Batley started out slow in what looked to be a soggy game, MOM Bradley Hyett and Dylan Waterworth both showed great skill in scoring trys with long drives from the Batley line. Outstanding ankle taps came thoughout the game from Top Tackler Joshua Rhodes aswell as scoring several trys. Bailey Aldridge making his debut for Batley showed strong drives and had defence seeing him gain his first try for the club and SMOM. MM came from Joseph McFarlane for facing up to the opposition and driving through to score his first try for the club. Another debut for the club came from ARCHIE DRANSFIELD who showed great composure thoughout the game gaining him Most Improved along side DANIEL GOODLAD for his strong defence. A great defence line came from Joshua Stones, SOLOMON HALDENBY, Olly Littlewood and Thomas Hyland. Jordan North, CALLUM SMITH, Farrell Sibbick and LEWIS STAFFORD all showed great performance thoughout the game. A great game was had by all even if the weather was wet.
