Welcome to Battyeford Belles U10's
Battyeford Belles U10's compete in[/b] of the U10 Section of The West Riding Girls Football League.
The team is composed of an enthusiastic group of Year 4 and Year 5 girl (school years) and have a great team spirit – we currently have some spaces left in our growing squad.
The team benefit from excellent training & playing facilities, at our West Mills base near John Cottons Mirfield. And winter training facilities at Mirfield Free Grammar School, Kitson Hill Mirfield. Our coaches are all trained to English FA Level 1 & 2 and all hold current CRB checks
We play 7 aside mini football format playing other girls teams from around West Yorkshire. The season runs from September to April – however we do accept girls to the club all year round.
Our club operates an open partnership with the West Riding County FA and their Girls Talent Pathway which includes opportunities to trial for The FA Girls Player Development Centre (Bradford City AFC) & Leeds United Girls Centre of Excellence. (U11, U13 U15 & U17's)
In addition school year 9 players can apply to join the Battyeford Junior Football Leaders scheme which is linked to school Duke of Edinburgh Awards and English & County FA Junior Leader programs. (Numbers are limited to 6 boys and 6 girls per year and are aimed towards players who have a leaning towards a career in sport)
