U12 Girls make Shield final
The U12 Girls have secured thier place in the West Riding Girls league Shield competion.
The U12 Girls playing 9 v 9 this season knocked out local rivals Norristhorpe in a convincing 6-0 win to take their place in the final. They will play at Tingley Athletic on Sunday the 16th May, 11.oo KO.
The squad Annie Lorimor, Amy Taylor, Beth Winsor, Emma Douglas, Lucy Thompson,Pheobe Sandom, Rebecca Shotton, Chloe Shotton, Georgia Hobson, Charlotte Hoyle, Eve Hattrell,Rebecca Banks and Nina Fox have worked really hard and well deserve their place in the final coming from bottom of the table and turning things round to finish 3rd overall. They were the only second division side to enter the 9 aside leage and have faced strong oposition from division 1 teams, but they have dug in and perseverd and are now beating these teams playing some excellent football. Well done girls !!!.
