If you are unable to control your emotions at a Junior Football Game, Please stay at home and get help !

The amount of abuse and bad behaviour continues to rise despite efforts by the FA and League to stamp it out.

Clubs, Teams, Managers, Players and Parents MUST realise that amateur leagues, like ours, do not have the resources or manpower to deliver perfect football.
Referee’s, in particular, are in very short supply which means that for many games a club official or volunteer has to be the referee.
They are doing their best to make sure the players get a game and WITHOUT THEM THERE WILL BE NO GAMES.

Simply standing on the touchline, or on the pitch playing and hurling abuse at the referee throughout a game will only force more referee’s to stop volunteering.
Why would anyone want to spend a couple of hours on Sunday being called a cheat and suffering physical threats.

You cannot keep accusing referee’s and opponents of cheating and poor behaviour when you are doing exactly the same thing.
Clubs, Team Managers, Coaches, Players and Parents must start to deal with poor behaviour within their own club before accusing others.

It is YOUR responsibility to behave correctly – Please think carefully about what you and those around you are saying.
