As a club we are constantly looking to raise funds to help us build the future of the club, but for many many people across the globe life is not about living for the weekend and the chance to go out and play hockey with their mates, but a struggle to survive day to day, through poverty, oppression, or natural disaster.
That’s why BDHC are taking on the Gold Challenge to raise money for the British Red Cross.

The British Red Cross are a charity which help people throughout the world regardless of faith or nationality from pensioners in Sheffield to children in Syria, often putting themselves in harms way in the process.

So this year as part of our club day on July 7th we are aiming to raise money for the British Red Cross as our way of acknowledging how lucky we are and in an effort to give something to help people less fortunate than ourselves.
As part of the 2012 Gold Challenge we will be attempting to complete 2012 consecutive passes so please give what you can to support a good cause by sponsoring us at;
