BDHC will be entering a mens Vets team into this years 41st Crawfurd Porter Tournament at Harrogate Hockey Club from Friday 11th- Sunday 13th May 2012.
For those who aren't sure, a 'Vet' is any player 40+ years of age (although we are allowed to field two 'mini-Vets' 35-39).

Market Deeping Vets previously entered (and won on many occasions) this tournament each year for over ten years, so it would be good to see a few ex Bourne players join the regulars to form a BDHC Vets.
Each team plays a minimum of two games on both Saturday and Sunday (mixed).

There is live entertainment and curry available at the Hockey Club on Friday night with last orders at the bar 12.30am for a 1.00am close.
Saturday night offers a sit down meal, with fizz on arrival (dress code is Jacket and Tie) followed by music and dancing at the Hockey Club. Last orders at the bar will be 1.30am for a 2.00am close.
There are sandwiches and teas available over the weekend at the club, and the bar is open throughout the day.

Entry is £50 for players and £25 for non players.
This includes:
· All your hockey
· Live entertainment and curry on Friday night
· Coach travel on Saturday
· Evening meal and disco on Saturday night.

Hotel rooms have been pre-booked at discounted prices.
We usually take a squad of around 15 and currently have 11 players, so there are 4+ places up for grabs.
