U16's Great win at Park House

On a cold Remembrance Day morning the boys travelled to our friends at Park House for a friendly game. Prior to the game, at 11 o'clock the boys had a minute silence to remember those who served and passed during recent and past conflicts.
Throughout the game Beccehamian put into effect various set pieces to great effect. Great examples of taking the ball at pace when attacking were shown throughout the game. When we needed to defend, great examples of strong tackling shown by many.
Less than a minute into the game Greg scored his first unconverted try taking Beccs into an early 0-5 lead. 7 minutes later St John scores his first unconverted try, Beccs second, taking Beccs to 0-10. 15 minutes into the games, St John scores his second unconverted try taking us to 0-15. On the half hour Nathan scores a great unconverted try taking Beccs to 0-20. Park House secured a penalty just before half time from Beccs for handling the ball on the ground which they slotted through the posts taking the score to 3-20.
Park House came in to the second half fired up with Beccs demonstrating great defence and tackling. The forwards all made great ground from their set pieces and runs with the ball being passed down the line. Greg scored his second unconverted try at 42 minutes 3-25. 50 minutes into the game saw Evan cross the try line to add another 7 points to the scoreboard with a conversion from Ben 3-32. Alec scored at 63 minutes with another conversion from Ben, taking the score to 3-39. 2 minutes from the end, Greg scores his 3rd try of the game taking the final score to 3-44.
