Girls Rugby Event
On Tuesday the 15th Beccles Rugby club is hosting a schools girls rugby event in partnership with the local high school.
It is expected the over 125 girls will be attending from various schools in the area, which makes it the biggest event for girls rugby in the region.
Its objective is to try and kick start girls schools rugby in the area, which in turn will boos player levels at the local clubs.
It is expected that the EDP will be there and I am in discussion with the BBC at the moment, we are also waiting to see if we will be having players from the England squad down for the afternoon.
We have various local, and county coaches helping out as well as players from the club.
Needless to say this will generate a lot of good PR for the club.
If you are free on the afternoon, please come down, it may be a bit hectic, but should be interesting
