Beckenham Rugby Cyclists in association with Beckenham Rugby Club and o2e are pleased to announce

This inaugural event, targeted for cyclists of all levels includes:-

Event 1 – 5 Hills Challenge – 72 KM route taking in some of the most challenging climbs in the Keston, Biggin Hill and Sevenoaks areas. Registration from 7:30 am and Cycle commences at 9:00 am. The route includes alternative 3 Hills (48 KM) and 1 Hill (16 KM) challenges for the less enthusiastic cyclists. To see the route go to http://ridewithgps.com/routes/986155

Event 2 – Family Fun Cycle around the Beckenham local area starting at 2:30 pm.

This is followed by a BBQ, Family Fun Day and Live Music at Beckenham Rugby Club. You must register to take part in the event - email 5hillschallenge@gmail.com

Participation in the event is as follows:-
• 5 Hills / 3 Hills / 1 Hill Challenge (Minimum £30 Donation / Sponsorship)
• Family cycle only (Minimum £30 Donation/Sponsorship)
• Combined Hill Challenge + Family cycle (Minimum £50 Donation/ Sponsorship – includes all family members)
• Option to Purchase a Special Event Cycling Jersey £TBA.

Above includes entry to the BBQ, Family Funday and Live Music. Entry for non-participants by donation to Charity on the day. Event insurance included (not individual insurance) All proceeds to our Charities - o2e and Riverside School

Information on our Charities

Ordinary 2 Extraordinary (o2e) is a totally voluntary children’s charity founded by a core group of members from Beckenham RFC in 2005. o2e was set up with two major objectives:

1. To make a difference to the lives of serious, needy and terminally ill children.
2. To make a difference to our own lives by encouraging sport and adventure with all the benefits they bring.

Over the years o2e has supported many great charities and really has made a difference to so many children’s lives raising over £1.2 million. Hundreds of o2e members have been involved in the UK as well as travelling the world, at their own expense, taking on wild and crazy challenges getting out of their comfort zones. Riverside School – Based in Hayne Road, Beckenham, is a special needs school for children who have severe or profound learning difficulties, particularly on the autistic spectrum. The school has a high success rate in the development of children with special educational needs.
