Dear all,
At the end of my 6th season as 7s manager, I have decided to step down from this role. The committee have accepted my request. I have explained that I would like to step away because with now being squad manager, my time is mostly taken up, and I would like to have just one focus so that 7s doesn't suffer. Plus our 7s squad is changing, and now is a good time for a change, and the time feels right.

But rest assured this isn't the end, I have found someone who is willing to take over the role. That person is Brian Lloyd, who has been to most of our tournaments over the past 2 summers, and is a committed club member, and friend of AD's.

I will start a handover with him after Xmas, and he will then make himself known to those of you that don't know him. Please give him your full support, to the same level that you have kindly shown to me over the 6 years.

My last 7s report is on the Brfc website if you'd like to take a look, and I would just like to finish with saying that I thank you all for the banter, the laughs, and for the great 7s rugby, and sense of pride you've given me over those 6 years. Of course you will all see me in a 15s capacity, and without doubt next summer on the sidelines, vino in hand, enjoying the tournaments!
