The 1st XV came away with a bonus point at Heol Y Cyw, scoring five tries in a 32-17 win. This was their second consecutive win against tough opposition and ideal preparation before next weeks big derby clash at Llantwit Fardre.

The Development XV also continued their unbeaten start to the season with a superb 20-12 win at Bargoed. The Green and Golds run in three tries against a very strong outfit.

The Youth XV bounced back from defeat last weekend in fine style by defeating Pencoed 38-19 in the 1st round of the Welsh Youth Cup. Coaches Bundy, Jenkins and Edwards can take a lot from their first away competitive game of the season but know there is still plenty to work on with a great bunch of talented players.
