Backs coach Rhys Edwards has left Beddau with immediate effect after two and half years at the helm.
Edwards was part of the coaching team that kept Beddau in Division One in the miracle run in 2009/10 and then coached the Green & Golds to a 3rd and 5th spot in the league in the last two seasons.
Everybody associated with the Club wishes Rhys all the best in the future and he will always receive a warm welcome at Mount Pleasant.
Replacing Rhys, will be 36 year old former Wales rugby league star and try scoring union star Lenny Woodard. Lenny, played both codes with distinction and will bring a new dimension to the back and attacking play at the Club next season.
We all look forward to working with Lenny and welcome him to the Beddau family.
