Pitchero Club

The best way to keep up to date with Beddau Rugby Football Club

Forthcoming Events

6 years ago By Jamie Willis

There's so much to do at Beddau RFC over the next few weeks. Live Band "The Heist" plays live now on Bank Holiday Sunday followed by more fun for all.

The events kick off next Friday when the Veterans welcome Spanish Club Stiges to Mount Pleasant. Alan Norris (Noddy) brings his new Club to his former battle ground for what should be another classic game on and off the field. Kick off is 7.30pm.

Then on Saturday June 2nd, its the Clubs Annual Dinner which is now a sell out. Rick O'Shea is this years guest speaker and all the fun starts from 2pm.Don't forget you can still watch the Wales v Barbarians game in the Lions lounge.

The following day is Bank Holiday Sunday, which means Funday for all at the Club. Top group THE HEIST have agreed to be this bank holidays big act. They play live from 4pm and this is followed by a top live DJ well into the night. All for just £3, which can be paid on the door. The last few bank holidays have been very full so to avoid disappointment get to the Club early for a good seat.

Bank Holiday Monday (June 4th) there will be an open mic session for all from 4pm. With no work on the Tuesday this is an ideal opportunity for wannabee singers to get up and show their talents.

On the weekends of Saturday June 9/16/23 there will be breakfast rolls served as Wales take on the Wallabies down under. The Club opens at 10am for all.

On Saturday June 23rd, the Club will also be hosting a touch rugby tournament that is open to anybody over the age of 16. Teams consist of 6 players per team with a maximum of ten persons in a squad with rolling subs. All the fun starts at 2pm. Contact Winko or Freddy to register a team. Should be a fun day with BBQ and refreshments.

A early bird reminder is that the Clubs Big Day - The Cricket Fun Day - takes place this year on Saturday July 28th so to register your team please see a member of the Committee asap. Only a few places for teams left.

More information to be posted here in coming weeks.
