The 1st XV recorded a bonus point win over a battling Dowlais at Mount Pleasant Park yesterday. The Green and Golds scored four tries with skipper Glen Slater, hooker Jack Dando and winger James Davies crossing the whitewash. There was also a penalty try awarded. Callum Wheeler and Jordan Odgers shared the kicking duties and jointly kicked ten points in a 30-6 final score line.

The Development XV were left without a game once again, this time with Heol Y Cyw withdrawing very late in the day due to a lack of players through call ups for their 1st XV.
The Youth XV put up a fantastic performance away at Cowbridge in the Welsh Cup. Despite being hugely injury ravaged the young Green and Golds gave everything before being beaten 21-11. A huge well done to all involved yesterday. A magnificent effort considering.
In football, Cwm Welfare 1st XI had a break but the reserves recorded an excellent 2-1 away win at AFC Porth.
