After a 3-week break a rusty Eagles set up a mouth watering Cup Semi Final against rivals Ashford Town after beating Farnborough Youth Falcons 5-0 in this cup quarter final

Eagles started off slowly and failed to take their chances in the first 8 minutes. In the 10th minute Reagan Thomas tucked away a through ball after good a good passing movement by Tom Brayshaw and Charlie Lee. For the next 26 minutes Eagles struggled to find any rhythm, then on 36 minutes a shot by Lee was parried into the path of Reagan Thomas to slot home for a 2-0 lead. HT

Eagles struggled at the start of the 2nd half and looked uncomfortable and desperate for a 3rd goal, this duly arrived against the run of play on 58 minutes. A curling left foot shot by Charlie Lee crept inside the post to put Eagles 3-0 up. On 60 minutes Tyler Vuurboom sent a powerful header from a corner into the Falcons net for Eagles 4th. Oliver Pinto completed the Eagles scoring with the goal of the game by cheekily lobbing the Falcons keeper from 25 yards.
