Eagles U15s Win 8 On The Trot
Eagles recorded their 8th consecutive win to set up a title decider against Ashford Town this coming Sunday.
On a cold Sunday morning in Woking Eagles found the going tough during the 1st quarter of an hour. Eagles were denied several times by the Woking Town goalkeeper< then on 15 minutes Charlie Lee hit a left foot shot that the keeper parried out to Prince Afriyie to thump home. 7 minutes later all action Tom Brayshaw went through 3 crunching tackles before coolly slotting the ball home to put Eagles 2 up.In the 30th minute goalkeeper Aaron Brohi prouduced a stunning save from a Woking free kick.
On 55 minutes a well worked free kick by Caedan Dudley set Charlie Lee away who crossed for Tom Brayshaw to thump home from 8 yards, in the 60th minute Lee broke down the right and crossed for Oliver Pinto to slide in to make it 4-0 to the Eagles. 66 minutes a clever over the top ball by Samuel Warren caught the Woking defence out allowing Charlie Lee to nip in and score. In the 78th minute Woking scored after Eagles conceded a penalty.
Although not the best of performances Eagles stuck to their task and worked hard, Sunday will be Eagles biggest game of the season a win will put Eagles on track for the League Title.
