Sports Reserves Win the Challenge Cup
Bedfont Sports Reserves 5 v Eversley Reserves 1....Get in..well done lads

The final was upon us...all the dummy spitting was forgotten....we knew that farnham and westfield were against us but we turned up with the same reserve squad that played the last 6 or so games of the season together and no need for 1st team players...unlike our opponents.....
Eversley played their part in a good final and a more gracious bunch of players will not be found anywhere but it was all about sports today. The football was sublime, especially in the first half as we pulled eversley apart and were 3 up at the break with sports playing football on the deck but having to deal with the constant eversley long ball.
The next goal after the break was important and it fell again to sports which then effectively killed the game off.
The final score was 5 - 1 to sports and could easily have been more on the day but justice was served and we won the final, not on a technicality but on real football.
Our thanks go to the eversley players, the match officials, dougie, tom and all at the winning post.
A great day and huge thanks to all the bedfont players for a magnificent day!
