Last year's winners, Kings Lynn Black Knights, will return to defend their title in the preseason festival competition which is set to reach new heights in 2014!

There are set to be 10 clubs competing for the first silverware of the season which is to be held at Bedford's Putnoe Woods ground!

The teams, all from the East RL, will slog it out over 4 hours in a festival format to determine who is the best "short game" team for 2014!

Cambridge Lions
Eastern Rhinos
Kings Lynn Black Knights
MK Wolves
NH Crusaders
Southend Spartans
St Albans Centurions
St Ives Roosters

The festival will start at midday on May 3rd and continue until a winner is crowned.

The day will also see the first ever live draw for the East Cup competition!

And as always there will be beers and BBQ and with a little luck some sunshine too!
