With the news that 2013 skipper Paul Ryder may require an ankle operation in May he stepped down as 1st team captain which freed up the role which Richbell was more than happy to adopt.

Sam is delighted to hold the role and have the responsibility of leading the Tigers in 2014 and its fitting that a player holding his personal stats should do this in the club's 10th anniversary!

He looks excited and speaks passionately about the club and what he feels we can achieve this summer so hopefully his influence will pay off both on and off the pitch.

Stand off Lee Walker has been named as vice captain and he too is looking forward to a full season having been missing for the majority of last year.

Paul Ryder may have been forced to step aside from the playing side of things but will still play a major role as match day manager. He'll coordinate the players through the game then more than likely continue his role during post game festivities too! :0)
