Here at Bedford Town Football Club, our events team have decades of experience in events and hospitality, turning celebrations into something truly special.

The Maxey Suite

The Maxey Suite is the main function suite at The Eyrie and is perfect for large events including, but not limited to - weddings, wakes, birthday parties, anniversaries, and any other type of social gathering.


The Maxey Suite can hold up to 150 guests for a sit-down event

The Maxey Suite is more than just a clubhouse in a football club. Even for a small budget, you can transform the room and dazzle your guests

We can cater for up to 150 people at a sit-down dinner or up to 200 for a standing event. Complete with its own fully staffed bar, The The Eagles Bar stocks a wide range of drinks and "the best bar staff in non-league football" are ready to keep the drinks flowing!


The Eagles Bar is always fully stocked with a huge variety of beverages at competitive prices and is licensed until 1am (Mon-Sat) and midnight on Sundays

Whether you're booking a lavish wedding reception, or a 1st birthday party, we will endeavour to make your event run smoothly. The following extras are available:

Catering Facilities

Through a selection of our resident caterers, some of the very best Bedfordshire has to offer, we can provide everything from hot & cold buffets, banquet service, themed platters, or a three-course meal.


Music events & charity do's are increasingly popular at The Eyrie

Music & Entertainment

We work with local events companies regularly and can offer exactly what you're after, at an affordable price. Through our events partners, our party packages can include extras such as DJ & disco sets, staging, disco balls, dancefloors, light up giant letters, photobooths, and more!

On a budget? No problem, we can also provide access to our built-in wireless sound system instead.

Or a 16ft square LED dancefloor to make sure your guests don't stay in their seats all night!

Classes & Smaller Functions

If you're looking for a large space to hold evening and daytime training classes, the Maxey Suite is the perfect choice. The function room is ample size for martial arts classes, yoga & pilates sessions, dance classes, and more! With ample parking for your students, toilet facilities and unbeatable prices.

Business Functions

Whether you're holding a full-scale exhibition, a meeting/team building day, or a small first/aid training course we've got you covered. With a giant 18x12ft projector for presentations, plus wireless microphone facilities and in-house audio, the room can be arranged for all your presentation and conferences requirements.

Business Suites for all Sizes

Our boardrooms at The Eyrie are a suitable choice for smaller meetings of up to 40 people, including the use of a smart TV.

All three of our available spaces are available for business functions as full and half day packages. The choices below are sure to fit the needs of most of your business function needs...

The Maxey Suite

  • Seats up to 140 people
  • Large room with space for a range of seating arrangement styles (banquet, cabaret, family, auditorium/classroom, conference/boardroom, horseshoe, hollow square
  • Equipped with an 18x12ft projector for presentations & displays from a laptop
  • In-house audio system with wireless microphones
  • The Eagles Bar can be included (for an additional hourly charge)
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided at reasonable prices
  • We can also offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for a small fee
  • Toilet facilities, including disabled toilets

The David Taylor Suite

  • Seats up to 40 people
  • Intimate room for medium sized conferences
  • Options for different seating arrangement styles (banquet, horseshoe, conference/boardroom, auditorium/classroom)
  • Equipped with a 49-inch wall-mounted TV for presentations from a laptop
  • The suite has its own cash bar (for an additional hourly charge)
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided at reasonable prices
  • We can also offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for a small fee
  • Toilet facilities, including disabled toilet

The Rhys Price Suite

  • Seats up to 15 people
  • Smaller, cosy room for small-scale meetings
  • Conference/boardroom seating arrangement
  • Equipped with a 40-inch wall-mounted TV for presentations from a laptop
  • Hot and/or cold catering can be provided at reasonable prices
  • We can also offer unlimited self-serve refreshments to you and your guests for a small fee
  • Toilet facilities (no disabled toilet)

PLEASE NOTE: Availability of all function rooms is limited on matchdays, in particular Saturdays during the football season
