Melvin is an 18 year old who can play at either centre back or right back. He has joined on dual registration terms with Nuneaton Town, who he has been with this season. Previously, the teenager spent his youth career with Chelsea, Millwall and Reading, before joining Ilkeston on their scholarship scheme.

Adeisda has played first team football this season for Nuneaton Town, and remains highly thought of as a prospect for the future there. Both clubs reached an agreement earlier this week to allow the youngster to come to the Eyrie to gain some valuable senior game time.

Speaking exclusively to www.bedfordeagles.net, Eagles manager Jon Taylor stated “Melvin will give us some strength and depth in our defence. He is a player who comes with a great experience and pedigree at professional clubs and I am delighted to introduce another quality signing to add to the squad.”

The Eagles boss continued stating “he is very quick off the mark and gets up and down the wing well. Aerially he is good and gets involved in the physical part of the game, winning tackles and completing his pass.”

Adesida’s registration is currently going through with the EvoStik League Southern and all being well should feature in tomorrow’s division one central tie at AFC Dunstable.
