The club is delighted to welcome the arrival of two new signings.

The first will be a familiar face to many, as Callum Lewis has re-signed for the club. Callum graduated through the youth system at the Eagles before spending three seasons in the first team under Ady Hall and Nick Platnauer. The 25 year old midfielder then left to join Biggleswade Town in the summer of 2013. This season he has been at Holbeach before agreeing a move back to the Eagles this week. Joining Callum is 20 year old, attacking player, Charlie Cook. Charlie joins from the Strachan Academy and has impressed Craig Adams in training this season.

Craig Adams spoke to www.bedfordeagles.net following the arrivals stating “It is great to have both the lads on board. Callum I have known about for a while, but we had to wait for his work commitments to sort themselves out before he could sign. He will work well with the other midfielders we have.”

Adams continued “Charlie is a lightening quick lad that has been spending time with under 21 football. I believe his attitude to be good and if his efforts continue he will be part of our first team plans.”

Both will be available for Saturday’s home tie against Weston-Super-Mare in the FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round. This game is a 3pm kick off.
