Bedford Town is delighted to announce that this season’s squad has increased with the signing of two new players.

Firstly, Tom Liversedge has agreed terms and signed Southern League registration forms. The 6 foot 3 inch centre forward scored 26 goals for Cogenhoe United last season and has had previous spells with Bedworth and Stamford.

In addition to Tom, the club have completed the signing of Danny Harmon. Danny is a utility player with great promise who has been recently released from Northampton Town FC, having finished a two year scholarship.

The two latest signings mean Craig Adams’ squad has an exciting look to it with preseason training set to start later this week. Speaking to the club website, Adams commented “I am delighted to get both players on board. These are two quality individuals who will fit well with what we are trying to do at Bedford.”

The Eagles manager continued “Both players have had interest from other clubs but like the vision and set up at Bedford. The squad now has a positive look on paper and we are hoping that we will be a competitive outfit come the start of the season.”

The first team’s first preseason friendly takes place next Saturday away at Bugbrooke St Michaels. Full details about the trip will appear on the website next week.
