ASHLEY SPENCER SET TO RETURN AT CHERTSEY

By Alan Robinson, Friday March 30

Bulkington twin Ashley Spencer (pictured) is set for a return to action in the Greenbacks game at Chertsey Town on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).

The goalscoring midfielder is reported to have recovered from an Achilles ankle injury that has kept him out of the last four games.

His return comes at an opportune time as Daniel Burke, the man who took over his midfield role, is ruled out through suspension.

Striker Ashley Robinson also sits out the third of his fourth suspension, and recent signing Luke Corbett is expected to continue to partner Mitchell Piggon up front.

Greenbacks squad: Brassington, Recci, Wesley, Tullin, Roper, Baxter, Andrew Spencer, Dean, Ashley Spencer, Corbett, Piggon, Bates, Greenway, Bannister, Brehon, Cartwright, Haines.
