GREENBACKS EXPECT BUMPER "DERBY" CROWD

Greenbacks officials are expecting their biggest league crowd in almost four years for today's local derby against Leamington at the Oval (3pm).

The last time the teams met - on Saturday, November 8th, 2008 - the attendance was 413, and it has only been bettered since by the visit of Nuneaton Town at Christmas, 2008.

Today's game is been sponsored by the Greenbacks Vice-Presidents, and the match-ball by the family of the late Les Latham, who managed both clubs during the 1960s.

The Greenbacks are expected to welcome back club captain Chris Tullin and right-back Alex Dean who both missed the game at Arlesey on Saturday to attend weddings.
