Club officials - including members of the Board - have again pledged to join a group of volunteers to give the ground another spruce up in readiness for an exciting new season.
Said chairman Peter Randle: "We will be at The Oval from 10am each day, and we will most grateful to anyone who is able to come along and help - even if it's just for an hour."
Work taking place next week includes slabbing in front of the main stand where teams will enjoy the new £50,000 dressing room facility for the first time.
Club director Neil Rayson-Randle is organising the slabbing: "I know Neil would be grateful of any help he can get for that work," said the Greenbacks chief.
Last season, the Oval was considered one of the best grounds in the Southern League Central, and it consistently earned glowing praises from visiting clubs.
"We want to treasure and keep that image," said Peter, "but, with all of the work that has been going on, there is still quite a bit of tidying up needed to be done. So we urgently ask for all of the help we can get. Please come and join us."
•Meanwhile, the Greenbacks start their pre-season warm-up programme on Saturday with a game at Long Buckby (kick-off 3pm).
