STEVE'S CHALLENGE TO CLINCH THIRD PLACE

Manager Steve Farmer has called on his Greenbacks team to make sure of finishing third-in-the-table - by winning away at Bedfont Town on Saturday.

Third place would guarantee his team a home tie in the semi-finals, and the Greenbacks need one win from their final two games to be certain.

"We can still be caught by Uxbridge so another victory would guarantee us home advantage in the play-offs and that's what our supporters want and deserve.

After the trip to Bedfont on Saturday, the Greenbacks final league game is at home to Biggleswade Town on Saturday, April 28th.

The Greenbacks are through to the play-offs for the first time in the club's 40-year history in the Southern League and they are just 180 minutes away (two play-off games) from winning promotion.
