This is your chance to nominate your local sporting volunteers, coaches, officials, participants, & clubs. The awards provide the ideal opportunity for you to recognise the time, commitment, and achievements dedicated to sport in Halton. All awards criteria, including eligibility, are outlined on the nomination papers but the awards are only open to those whose sporting involvement is voluntary and for no current financial gain. Please find below the categories for this year's awards;

• Young Sports Volunteer of the Year

• Lifetime Achievement

• Sports Club of the Year

• Sports Coach of the Year

• Sports Person of the Year

• Young Sports Person of the Year

The evening of recognition and celebration will take place on Thursday 25 September 2014 at the Select Security Stadium Halton, Widnes, which will include the awards, a dinner, and guest speaker.

(Candidates and their nominators will be informed by as to whether their submitted application has been successful or not).
