A depleted Belper United last week put in a disappointing performance against rivals Pinxton last weekend. All square at halftime Belper United gave in easily in the second half and went down 4-0. Bilborough Pelican also were defeated last weekend losing 2-0 at home to South Normanton.

Belper United (7th) and Bilborough Pelican (5th) fought out a 2-2 draw earlier in the season. United's goals from Jordan McRobie and Sam Vickers were cancelled out by goals from Carey Knight and Danny Johnson.

Paul Postlethwaite says 'Although we were without a number of players and had to blood a lot of reserves players last week, I was still disappointed with our second half performance, we didnt show our usual character and rolled over far too easily. We have a number of experienced players returning this weekend to boost the squad so anticipate a far better performance over the full 90 minutes.'

The Reserves are at Alton Manor (3pm KO) against top of the table Sherwood Colliery Reserves.
