On Saturday Mickleover Royals came back from Basford United with a fabulous 1-0 victory with a goal from Kirk Francis. Belper United had a home tie on Sunday against former Evo-Stik side Quorn FC and had a hard fought 2-1 victory, scoring the winner with 3 minutes of extra time remaining.

Both sides will be hoping not to suffer from a FA Vase hangover this Saturday. Royals are now clear at the top of the table after 9 straight wins. United are in 3rd spot in the table but are protecting a 7 game unbeaten record at Christchurch Meadow. Earlier in the season Royals ran out 1-0 winners at the Raygar Stadium and Last season's league games also dont point to a obvious winner with two hard earned draws being played out.
