Saturday saw Belvedere 2nd XI take on Watchet. On a hot day Captain Lodge won the toss and chose to bat, a choice that would come back to haunt him. Wickets fell at regular intervals with only Lodge, Ham & Chatterjee with the later top scoring with 30 with Belvedere all out for 99.
In Reply Watchet took the opening bowlers for 37 from the first 4 overs at this point Lodge decided everyone would have a bowl with Ham taking 2 wickets and Jefferies and Jennings with 1 each. Watchet won by 6 wickets.
