The development side continued their good run with a 2-1 win at home to Colney Heath. A couple of close range shots at the railway end from Prescott Macauley and Ryan Luke earned Berko a 2-0 lead at the interval. In the second half Colney pulled a goal back but Berko held on to win 2-1 and claim the three points.

The first team game at London Colney was called off at lunchtime on Saturday due to the sun being unable to get on frozen patch in front of the stand. The snow has also put paid to the scheduled St Marys Cup tie with Markyate PSV and the under 14s county cup game.

Hopefully the weather will have improved by the weekend. On Saturday 16th Berko have a real six pointer when two of the division's top teams meet at Welwyn Garden City. Max Farrelly misses out with a one game ban for picking up too many bookings. Striker Chris Blunden has left Berko for one of his former clubs Oxhey Jets. Berko's Herts. Senior Cup tie at home to Royston Town is now on Tuesday 19th December, when Farrelly can return. The winners will be away to Hertford Town in the next round.
