PEACOCKS HOLD AWARDS DINNER AT LODGE
THE ANNUAL AWARDS EVENING TOOK PLACE AT THE LODGE HOTEL ON SATURDAY 11TH JUNE. IT WAS ATTENDED BY OVER 250 PEOPLE. CLICK TO READ REPORT....
ANOTHER BIG NIGHT FOR BERTIE PEACOCK YOUTHS
Saturday evening seen bertie peacock youths hold their fifth annual awards evening.
A turnout of over 250 attended the dinner at the lodge hotel with the special guests on the night being current coleraine manager Oran Kearney, milk cup chairman victor Lennard, ct sports and members of the peacock family.
The proceedings got under way with chairman thanking the special guests, family and friends, for their attendance and the players for their efforts for the past season. The special message the chairman put out was that bertie peacock youths have been and will continue to strive in the development of budding young footballers and hoped that the boys also would learn life skills in their time at the club he also stated that although winning leagues, cups etc is great there would be no better satisfaction to see a good percentage of berties youngsters play the game at a high level
The guest speakers also had a silent room as they spoke about the late great bertie peacock and their praises for the progress the club has made in 5 years. Award winners on the night were..
