Bethel suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Llandudno in the Adran Trophy.
Bethel started the game slowly, never really found their feet and were never able to recover having found ourselves 3-0 after 20 minutes.
The only flash of quality we were able to show was a Katie Midwinter goal after a good passing move between Erin Maloney and Jody Cain, Midwinter controlled the ball on the edge of the box and found the far left corner.
Llandudno extended their lead shortly after and scored immediately after the half time break to wrap up the scoring on the day.
On the whole, the second half was a much more even affair, although Bethel didn't manage to carve out any real chances.
"Congratulations to Llandudno on their win, they played very well. Saying that, I know that we are more than capable of competing with them and its disappointing that we didn't perform on the day, we didn't do ourselves justice at all.
Sometimes, when you lose you learn a lot more than when you win, this loss will show us what we're made of as a squad and I'm expecting a good response when we welcome Wrexham to Cae Seilo a week on Sunday. We've been in this position before and we've always shown good character to bounce back.
There's still a lot to play for in the Adran Trophy."
