The blue and golds will take on North Hull Knights at the Leisure Centre this Saturday kick off 2,30pm. Scott Taylor will have to make do without the services of Sam Coleman, Bobby Howdle and Ryan Watkin who are representing the British Army at the Armed Forces Festival at Crossfields ARLFC, Warrington.

It has been a week of controversy for club administrators and Secretary Nick Robinson has spent most of the week on the phone. The RFL operational rules do allow a club to postpone a fixture should they have 2 or more players on representative duty but the game will still go ahead. Because the two clubs were unable to agree on a new date the RFL have advised that the fixture should be played regardless otherwise the game could be awarded to North Hull Knights with a 24-0 score and a one point deduction.

Such sanctions would seriously dent Beverley's top four play-off hopes so they have decided to go ahead despite missing these key players. Scott Taylor is staying very tight lipped about his 17 man squad which he will not name until an hour before kick-off.
