O-Pro Mouthguard fitting sessions on Sunday 11th September
The club has arranged for O-Pro, a company that specialises in protective sports equipment, to offer a custom made mouthguard service.
As in previous years the club has arranged for O-Pro, a company that specialises in protective sports equipment, to offer a custom made mouthguard service. An O-Pro dentist will be visiting the club at both locations (BSA Chesterton and Oxford Road) on Sunday 11th September, to take dental impressions. Those that have used custom made mouthguard before will be fully aware of the advantages.
Mouthguard prices start at approximately £33 (clear version) inclusive of VAT and P&P. There are colour and special options available at extra cost. If you would like a custom made mouthguard please pre-order as this will dramatically reduce the risk of errors and time required on Sunday, particularly as the dentist will be busy. Ordering can be done on-line at www.opro.com or by phoning 01707 261261. Alternatively you can complete a form and pay on the day. Mouthguards will be posted directly to players, normally within a week.
The on-line pre-order process is straightforward. Having accessed the UK website select "Order" and follow the instructions. Tips: when requested at stage 2 select "school/club" option; at stage 6 search for “Bicester RFU” then select "Bicester RFU Club (Oxfordshire)" from the drop down menu. This last point is really important as it ties your order to the dentist's visit to the club. The final stage is to pay via a secure link using credit or debit card. An order number will be emailed to you and the dentist will have your order details prior to his visit.
If other family members or friends would like to take advantage of this service please follow the same procedure.
