Bideford slipped to their first defeat of 2016 after two second half goals secured all the points for the home team.
Biddy were unable to turn their early pressure into goals at Cambridge as the went down to another defeat in the League.
The Robins have had six fixtures postponed in recent weeks so they were delighted that this game was given the go ahead. Bideford played well in the first half before two goals in the middle of the second half saw the game slip out of reach.
Biddy were playing with the wind behind their backs in the first half and tested City keeper Zac Barrett on numerous occasions. Despite some good efforts from Angus Wilson and Richard Groves, they were unable to break through the Cambridge back line.
In the second half, Kaan Fehmi opened the scoring for the home side after a long, wind assisted kick from Barrett, and James Hall extended that lead to ensure Cambridge City picked up the deserved three points.

Biddy are due to make the long trip back up to Cambridgeshire Tuersday evening when the take on St Neots, before hosting Merthyr Town at the Sports Ground on Saturday afternoon.
