The 18-year-old Gulls forward has progressed through the ranks at Plainmoor since he was 12 and had an exceptional campaign with the academy side last season, scoring 23 goals. Prynn was offered a senior contract with Torquay but has been sent out on an initial one month loan to Bideford.

"He (Prynn) just needs some game time but it's a good asset to have," said Bideford manager Sean Joyce. "If he comes in and does well then he might get a chance with the Torquay first team. He can play across four different attacking positions and we hope to push the deal through and have him with us for tomorrow night."

Bideford travel to Chippenham Town tomorrow night in the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier as the fixtures begin to flood in.

"This is the hardest part of the season, when there are games every Saturday and Tuesday," said Joyce. "We need a big squad and Prynn adds to that."

Prynn has made four substitute appearances for the Torquay first team and also spent the 2013 pre-season with Premier League club Aston Villa, before returning to Torquay for personal reasons.
