SEVENTH HEAVEN

Saturday saw the mighty Waders obtain their highest ever league position and points haul in the history of the club. A great season, enjoyable, fun and a pleasure to be a part of. A lovely bunch of people, players, staff and supporters. But and there is always a but. Lets put this in perspective. Football is all about budget, what you get through the gate, plus, is what you budget for the playing expenses. Biggleswade is a town of approximately 16000 population, national averages say 1% will attend the local football, which is where we are at. Look down the league and find a team with a smaller population, Kings Langley, Cinderford maybe but not that many. Biggleswade, the little club are punching well above their weight.
Next season the management will want to improve on that as we have done since we joined the Southern league, except for maybe one blip. We need and appreciate your support. Encourage your friends to come along its not all about football but the whole experience.

Chris Nunn and Bully Adams have produced a great side to entertain us week in week out. Thanks boys its been a real blast.
