Matt Rush Signs for Southend United Football Club

Billericay Town Colts would like to wish Matt all the best with his new club and hope this is just the start of a great future.

The pacy forward signed for Billericay Town last summer from Wickford Town FC where he played the majority of his junior football.

Matt's speed is probably the first thing you see when you watch him play for the first time, but you soon realise Matt has many other attributes to his game, one of many is his hard work on and off the ball and another his ability to finish when in front of goal.

Colts chairman 'Ken Robinson" said of the news, "when you see a youngster getting the chance to play for a team like 'Southend United' it make you proud to be part of 'Billericay Town Football Club, we wish him all the best".
