Newly Qualified Referees

Last night Hamish Shenton (u16s) and Ben Leleux (u17/18s) passed their refereeing assessment to become fully qualified level 7 referees.

Congratulations to both.

We are lucky to have quite a number of young referees who have already done their training and are gaining experience across the age groups. A new batch of u14s have recently been officiating their first few games in the u9 and u10 age groups. Thank you to all the parents and coaches who have positive words to say to the lads after the game, they really appreciate it and it helps them to gain in confidence in doing what can potentially be a difficult job, but one that makes such a difference to the experience that our young players have.
