Birkenhead Wanderers FC were a Rugby side formed around 1895 they palyed Union till the split of the Northern Clubs and then played league at Tranmere Rovers ground till 1905 playing ion the Second division until the folded that year. After disbanding the remaining players came to Park giving their name to The Second 15
