WANDERERS BATTLE THROUGH TO RAGING BULL CUP SEMIS

WANDERERS BATTLE THROUGH TO RAGING BULL CUP SEMIS

Birkenhead Park Wanderers have been drawn away from home against Lymm 2nd XV in the semi final of the Raging Bull Cup (due to be played in April - more details will follow).

This comes after a fantastic performance against a tough Sedgley Park Tigers 2nd XV, pipping them 17-16 and holding out with some awesome defence in the last 10 mintues.

The Wanderers knew exactly were their strengths were and set about putting them to good use. All credit to the boys who played who may not have been as fit as their counterparts but certainly put them to the sword. Park's second try was a bit of inspired play by the JMU boys who had stepped up to fill in. It was also fantastic to see so many Colts taking the step up to the Wanderers team as well and really put in some great performances.

It's been one of the most difficult seasons in past experience for the second team and have some work to do to make sure they maintain their 2nd XV Premiership status, but with a few more performances like that, there's every opportunity of a successful end to the season!
