What a performance!!
Some absolutely superb rugby.
How chuffed am I - four beautiful tries with at least another three more if lady luck hadn't legged it on us!
The Saints are a top team with lads playing since the age of 6. So that was top opposition.
-Fitness was a factor, but not by much, just a little indecision and a bit of bad luck stopped The Mighty Park smashing an excellent opponent. Well done lads!
We'll have a rest on Wed but I want you doing some interval training by yourselves during the week...
Sprint one lamppost -jog two, repeat...for about 30 mins.
I’ve just got a fixture against Hoylake for Sunday. So we’ll meet at Park at 10am or Hoylake at 10.30.
So the mighty Park play on. The only area we were weak on was just indecision around the maul so if you don’t hear “Ruck formed” (from the ref) pick the ball up and leg it. Our rucking was good, tackles were better/good, passing was great, with some brilliant passes, but we could have passed along the line once or twice that would have resulted in a score, but we didn’t, so lesson learnt. Our scrums were strong and the line-out good so I’m made up. Let’s see what you do to Hoylake.
Make sure you work on fitness.
See you Sunday.
