The P4s enjoyed another successful outing last Sunday at home to Whitecraigs.

The visitors turned out a well drilled team who tackled and passed well throughout however Birkmyre proved to be too strong in the end. The first of the main matches ended in a close fought 3 all draw and Birkmyre ran out 6 -2 winners in the second. Two “bounce” matches were also played on a side pitch whilst the main games were on and the home team comfortable won both of those.

Some of the Birkmyre boys appear to be developing some “additional” techniques. Magnus Muir has taken a liking to inflicting the odd high tackle on the oppenents whilst David Cruickshank has been giving the referee a bit of "back chat". Can’t imagine where they have picked up these habits from! I personally blame their mothers!!!
