Manager Steve Cleal confirmed that the Cinderford Town defender will be joining up when his squad return to training at the end of June.
Rhodes was part of the title winning Cinderford side that kept 24 clean sheets and conceded only 29 goals last season. Rhodes also scored 3 goals, all in the second half of the season with his first being the opener in the 3-1 defeat of the Cleeve back in February. He will join the likes of Jordan Stoddart and Leroy Odiero in a strong Cleeve defensive lineup.
On the impending move, manager Steve Cleal said:
“Having Nick back at the lane is a great coup for us, he is one of the best defenders in the league and now has the experience of winning it that can only be a good addition to our young squad, he had a couple of teams after him but he has chosen us”
Cleal is looking to make some more signings in the coming weeks with an exciting 2016/17 season coming which will see the Mitres host the likes of Hereford and Salisbury in the league.
