BIFC 4 - 3 Radford Semele
Jam Joely Goaly is just deserts for Bishops, as Simpson helps seal win
Another week and it seemed another mounting injury list, with the best part of 12 first teamers unavailable. Jordan came into the squad for the first time this season, with Joel making his first start. Rob was on his way back from Gatwick Airport and missed the kick off, so Bishops had 11 to kick off.
Bishops started strong and took the lead through Bennett who had cut in from the right to fire across goal. Radford hit back instantly, with a good hit from Ayley into the top corner. Radford then took the lead when a ball was cut back and Bishops had a bit of a spell under the pump as Radfords midfield were finding space at ease.
Half time came and went, with Bishops looking to stay in the game and get something from the contest. An equaliser came not long after half time, when Joel headed home from a corner, with Turts scoring following Joels good work and pull back to make it 3-2 to Bishops.
The game ebbed and flowed for a while, then Radford were back level when Charlie bundled over a Radford striker in the box and Seb tucked away the penalty.
Rob came on to steady the midfield up and did a fine job until he had the ball as he had his hearing aid in and didn't fancy passing to anyone - Jonny B in particular.
Bishops sealed the deal when Simmo finished from close range the game remained in the balance until the final whistle. A good contest, which is always the case v Radford. No game next week for the men in Blue.
