HRI 1 - 1 BIFC
Mad Dog Walks
Bishops turned up to HRI with a good strong number of players unavailable for the game. 17 would be starters were missing, but there should have been enough on paper to get a result against a hard working HRI outfit.
HRI started strong as Bishops were careless in possession, with several half chances going begging by the horticulturalists.
The home side took the lead when a free kick from range somehow managed to find its way into the bottom corner of the goal directly. Only Nathan can explain that, but it summed up our start. Things were compounded not long after when a tangle of legs and arms saw both teams down to 10 men, with Adair lashing out at a defender to earn his strawberry.
The second half got under way with plenty of huff and puff but no real goal action until late on. Bishops had more and more chances but as this opened up it let HRI into the game a couple of times also.
Turts found an equaliser shortly before the end, finishing from close range after Symons' free kick. There was a header from a blue head (Blue Kit not a blue head literally. We're not avatars) that was cleared off the line in the last few minutes which just about summed the morning up. 2 points dropped on paper, 1 point gained on performance.
