Welcome to BSRFC U11s
We look forward to welcoming new and existing players for the 2011/12 season. If your date of birth is between 1st September 2000 and 31st August 2001 (school year 6), and you are interested in playing for Bishops Stortford RFC, or would like further details, please contact one of the coaches or feel free to turn up at a training session. All players should be come in appropriate clothing and footwear for all weather conditions and most importantly all children MUST have a mouthguard.
This year children move from a 9-a-side to a 12-a-side contact. The introduction of 5 man scrums and line-outs along with the ability to kick the ball from hand. In the U11s we will continue to focus on coaching and developing the basic rugby skills and techniques and developing new ones as the season progresses.
